Our neck of the woods here in Michigan has this 200 mile annual antique trail each year which officially starts in Clay Township, Michigan, and goes all around the Thumb to Sebewaing, Michigan. the M-29 and M25 Michigan Route.
Their website is: http://home.tir.com/~mteichow/yst/ or in case you want to see where I will be this weekend, here is the map below.
Bob and I live about 10 minutes South of Marine City. Our store is in Marine City, and my mom lives in Port Sanilac. Port Austin is where I stop and turn around, as there is just too much farmland after that town and the next town past that (Caseville) does not do the antique trail because they have there own Cheeseburger in Paradise Festival each year at this time.
Unofficially, it started today, and Bob found something already on his way back home. He was on his way up to Sandusky, Michigan (West of Port Sanilac) to pick up a pie safe we purchased for the store on our mini jaunt last weekend....and can you believe it....
He found a pumpkin pine desk from the 1800's. I told him not to sell it until I get a chance to look at it...and take a picture!
He better not sell it...cause I won't be home until Sunday....LOL
Well ladies, I am off on my antique finding jaunt. Have a great weekend, and hopefully I won't be too pooped out to do my Monday Montage. And if any of you happen to see Bob this weekend at our store, ask him about our Anniversary Sale going on this weekend.
PS...I only need 10 more followers for my giveaway...any of you who mention this on your blog this weekend and comment back to me...will get another chance to WIN!!!
Take care everyone,
Janice
