TGIF sweet friends.
Thank you for all of your sweet comments
for the loss of our precious Peeps.
I could not comment to everyone separately...
it was too hard at the time.
Again I just want you to know how much
I appreciated your kind words.
Today my post features some
Flashback Friday pics with a bit of green in each.
Hope you enjoy.
On another note,
we are moving forward now
with our candy store.
We decided to have it inside our antique store,
since we are still on hold with the other building.
Bob has been working long hours for the
past two weeks building it out.
I will show pics soon...
and soon we will be ordering the candy.
We are both nervous and excited.
This weekend will be spent pricing items
for our prim show next Saturday.
Also I will be sewing an awning out of fabric
for the candy store.
Wait til you see what we came up with.
Any big plans for your weekend?
Weekend Blessings To All!
Janice
I sure have had you on my heart the past few days. As I've been away from blogging for several months, I did not know about the candy shop. I look fwd to seeing the awning and future posts. I thoroughly enjoyed your "green" pictures this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mildred. It was hard for sure as our fur babies are part of our family. Janice
DeleteSounds like an emotional week with lows and excitement and happiness among others . Prayers that everything falls into place on your new venture, sending hugs
ReplyDeleteYes it was Sandy. Thanks for your sweet comment. Janice
DeleteHi Janice,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much that even in the midst of your sadness, you took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday on my blog!! I truly appreciate it!!! Hoping your sore heart finds comfort in all those other sweet fur babies!! How exciting about the candy store and hope it all comes together smoothly!! I remember visiting an antique shop in Ohio that also had a candy store in the front and just loved that idea!! Blessings and much success, my friend!!!
Take care and spend lots of cuddle time with the kitties!!
Heart Hugs~

It is getting better every day. Candy store is moving along too. Janice
DeleteLove the green, and was just wondering what the strung next to the okra is. I had a friend who strung green beans and she called them leather britches. Your cats are so sweet, no wonder you like making them. A candy store in an antique store would be a perfect place. There is one in our craft mall and I think they do really well. It will be fun for you all as well. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteThey are called cow peas or leather britches as you said. Janice
DeleteHappy to hear that the candy store is once again a go.
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day :)
Lauren
Thanks Lauren! Janice
DeleteLooking forward to see the pictures of your candy store.. all the best for your new venture..
ReplyDeleteStay tuned for pics! Janice
DeleteHow exciting about the CandyStore development! It sounds like a good idea and will special for people of all ages. It might also increase sales as shoppers have time to browse and also return for the candy. Can't wait to see your awning idea!
ReplyDeleteWe are really looking forward to it! Janice
