An Autumn Mantle

 Good morning friends.

With the end of October soon to end,

I thought I would show you my simple mantle display.

I purchased this awesome pitcher from
a pick Bob and I went on many years ago.
The previous owner would not sell it to me,
until I told her who was going to purchase it.
Being an antique dealer, I really have no clue
who will purchase items from our store,
so I told her I would purchase it for myself.
Only then would she sell it to me.
I have kept it ever since and still love it!

This beauty is a beehive form.

This one is white inside.
Not old, but still love it.

This one is definitely not old,
but again I did so love the swirls in it.

Just a simple mantle with colors I so love.
My favorite time of year for hues.

Tomorrow our daughter gets married.
No one is dressing up.
A simple black and white one
with touches of red. Very elegant.

Sunday I start the transformation of our store
from Halloween to Christmas.
Thank you everyone for your
kind and warm comments thus far.
It so means a lot to me!

Do you have favorite colors you like to
decorate with in your home?

Simple Hue Blessings to All!
Janice

  1. Your pitchers are lovely and I especially like the swirly one. Yes, this favorite month of mine is almost over and even though I will enjoy decorating for Christmas after Thanksgiving, I will miss the pops of orange that I love in my home. I have a lot of blue here and there so that goes well with the colors of most of the seasons. Congratulations to your daughter on her wedding tomorrow! It's great to have a reason to celebrate and on such a fun day. They shouldn't be able to ever forget their anniversary date! Have a wonderful weekend and don't forget the clock switch and enjoy that full moon tomorrow!

  2. Love the coverlet as a backdrop to your picture. You have a nice selection of different jugs. Makes for a nice Autumn Mantle Scape. Congratulations and Best of Wedding Wishes for your daughter and very soon to be son-in-law. Wedding sounds beautiful. How exciting.

  3. A nice collection of pitchers.
I can't believe that Halloween is tomorrow already. Halloween is very low key this year. Covid-19 has taken the fun out of it.

Congratulations to your daughter on her wedding. I wish the happy couple a happy life together.
    Hugs, Julia

  5. Congratulations to your daughter and son-to-be! Sounds like it will be a beautiful wedding. Love your autumnal colorscape....I do love me my neutrals...but my favorites colorscheme is being able to "pop" those colors with the rusts and oranges of Halloween....and, of course, the drama black brings to a scene. Guess that's why I love Halloween so much....or mayhaps, because I love Halloween so much, why I love those colors??? Happy Halloween...and Happy Wedding!! Enjoy! ~Robin~
