Happy weekend my friends.
Well November is here and we already
had snow on Halloween evening.
Bob and I were enjoying dinner at our
local restaurant after passing out candy,
and when it started to snow, the piano player
played a set of Christmas tunes.
Yesterday one of the radio stations
started playing Christmas tunes.
Everyone forgets about the turkey it seems.
Today I will be working the Urban Garage
whilst Bob sells his wares at his show in town
that he organizes.

Before I go, I wanted to show you these
awesome pics of our hostesses home
that we went to for that Halloween party.
This creepy piece was by her kitchen doorway.
It was used on the set of a local cable show
called the Grimms.
They were a husband and wife team
who talked and showed horror movies.

Posters were on every wall.
The only space not having a poster,
was where the tv was hanging.
This was our zombie bartender.
The drinks were on this showcase which
was filled with carnival memorabilia.
Notice the duck pond game in the background.
It is the real McCoy.
The fortune telling game.
It really gives out cards.
This neon palm reader sign.
Another carnival game with the red stripe fabric.
More of the framed posters,
from floor to ceiling.
A magician's table.
Our host is a real magician
who is in the Michigan Hall of Fame of Magicians.
I did not get a good picture of the books
on their fireplace,
but these are all over 100 years old
and deal with seances.
Look at those red velvet theatre seats.
Plus another neon sign and poster
on the stair landing.
Thank you Ron and Tracy
for a wonderful time!
Your house is
AMAZING
and these pictures do not do it justice.
Zombie Blessings To All!
Janice
Do they remove any of that after Halloween or is that the normal day-to-day decor?
ReplyDeleteTracy only removes the Halloween decor, the rest remains as is. Janice
DeleteWhat a fabulous party! How fun and so well decorated! I'm behind in blogging and went back and read your previous posts and that mask you found is super creepy but a great find and you decorated your store perfectly! Loved it! I have a similar lamp like the one over your coffin. It's from my in-laws estate but it's just sitting in a box in storage. We don't have the right house for it. But when I saw yours it reminded me of it! I hope you had a great Halloween and I know it was cold and snowy because my sister in Chicago said they got about 4in. of the white stuff! Happy November to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Your witch and shoes are perfect for your decor! Janice
DeleteWow, amazing!
ReplyDeleteYes it is Jacky! Janice
DeleteWow that is amazing!! Love the pictures. Happy November to you and Bob.
ReplyDeleteThank you Janet. Same to you! Janice
DeleteSimply amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes it is Lauren. Not primitive but a great home to visit. Janice
DeleteYour Halloween party was fantastic! What a great use of so much vintage Halloween antiques! It all sounded so much fun too.
ReplyDeleteNow on to November. We finally got a cool weekend and it feels more like Fall ..............at least for a few days!! Lol!! November is one of my most favorite months of the year. I love how Halloween rolls into longer nights, landscape changes, and the cozy feelings of home with soup on the stove and new books to read.
Glad the temps are going down for you. Tracy’s’ home is just amazing and I forgot to take pics of her other collections upstairs. Janice
DeleteYes their home is amazing! Janice

Yes it was an amazing home and I forgot to tale pics of the upstairs which were different collections. Another time I will. Janice
DeleteThis is unbelievable COOL! What a grand time. I love every detail but I have to admit the bartender is really quite the star of the show!
ReplyDeleteAnd for what it's worth, I respect the turkey!
They only put him out during Halloween then he goes back in storage, but it was a cool house and we had a spooky great time! Janice
