Room Available

Happy First Monday of August everyone!
Yesterday was Bob's birthday,
and the birthday boy wanted chili for dinner
with a banana cream pie for dessert.
He enjoyed both.

Today I want to show you
some of the available rooms
that were available at the inn we stayed at.

This was one of the sitting rooms.
It was upstairs near our suite.

I took a picture of every room that was
not being used.
It was fun peeking in and seeing the decor.
No orbs in any of the pics.

This was the back stairs.

Another bedroom.

Upstairs sitting area by the front stairs.

The other half of the sitting room.

This cabinet was to the right of the couch.

More bedrooms.

This piece was outside one of the rooms.
Water pitcher and basin on top,
with a chamber pot below.

Hopefully back in the day,
they did leave the chamber pot there
once it was full.

Will show the other rooms
in another post.

What was your favorite room thus far?

Room Available Blessings To All!

  1. I love the rooms with the old fashioned wall paper. This old Inn was a lovely place and I like that they have it filled with period antiques. It is fun to go where the owners have taken the effort to restore it as it was when first established. I always enjoy being able to enjoy a stay similar to what the early visitors would have experienced.

Happy Belated birthday wishes to Bob! Glad he was able to enjoy a dinner with favorites.

  3. The rooms were cool to see all in period decor. Their website did not offer the canopy bed at the time I reserved it... would have liked to stay there too. Janice
