Hello friends!
Hope this post finds you all safe and well.
Having a blast with my mom here.
We have done lunch each day thus far.
Yesterday we made 6 dozen pierogis.
Today we will be making more.
Today's CupboardScape I decided
to feature the colors of the Ukraine flag.
Blue and yellow.
Their citizens have been on my mind for weeks.
The horrors they are facing which they
never asked for.
I pray this war ends soon for them.
I praise their president for being
the leader they have.
This Easter weekend,
please take some time to be thankful for what you have.
Take some rime to send good thoughts & prayers
to those in Ukraine.
Happy Easter Blessings To All!
Janice
Really cute displays. Love the round boxes. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

So wonderful that you and your mom make lunch together. I have never tried pierogis. Your color choice to support Ukraine in your lovely decor is so thoughtful and beautiful. Wishing you a happy Easter Weekend

ReplyDeleteSo nice to read about all the fun you're having with your mom. Also good for you to get a break.
ReplyDeleteBlue and yellow together always makes a statement. I am green over that blue bail handled pantry box!! I'm glad you're enjoying your mom time... Wishing you Easter blessings.... ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteA daily lunch date...what fun! Thank you for a tribute to the Ukraine...I can't help but wonder how long it can go on without someone stepping in (how does that quote go? choosing the harder right over the easier wrong) Enjoy the Easter weekend...ahhh pierogis sound wonderful! Mary
ReplyDeleteUkraine is miserable and unbearable to see. Your cupboard scapes are uplifting though. Enjoy family and Easter celebrations.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cupboard scape. One of my 4H moms is from Ukraine, her family still (lives/lived) there. Awful just awful! Praying too.
ReplyDeleteZelenskyy is definitely a leader. I sure wish we had one ;-(
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter. Enjoy your mom time. You are so lucky to be able to make memories (and pierogies) with her.
Happy Easter Janice. I too think of those poor people trying to get through this holy holiday although if they are Orthodox they will have Easter next weekend. Thanks for a lovely tribute to those brave folks and their wonderful leader.
