Change Is Good

RIGHT?

Good morning friends!
Happy Hump Day!

So Bob and I decided to keep our house.
Plans now are to have someone
come out and evaluate whether
we add on or add a second story.
With that said,
I decided change was good.

Therefore I am selling this cabinet
in our hallway.

Am thinning out a bit.
Moved this bucket bench and drysink in.

Decorated it a bit.
Waiting for Bob to take down
the cabinet above the drysink.
This one will be moved to our bedroom,
while our bedroom hanging cabinet
will be hung back in the hallway.
More things will be sold.
Already took a few crocks and other prims
to our store.
I want to minimalize my decor now.
Am on the lookout for 3 new pieces.
Once I have those, I will sell a few more
cabinets....
unless of course we start the redo
before I find my dream pieces.

One is a mule chest.
We bought one a few years back,
and regrettably sold it.

Will show the final redo in a bit.

Change Is Good Blessings To All!
Janice

  1. the thought of moving makes me ill we have been here so long and have lots of things. But probably not as many as you do.

    1. Yes the thought of moving everything was another issue I was struggling with. Staying put. Janice

  2. Have you considered that if you have an upstairs, as you age, it get more difficult climbing those stairs.
I wouldn't mind living in a one story house. Of course, I'm speaking from my own experience.

We all accumulate so much stuff and as family pass on, we inherit their stuff.
I'm sure you'll make the right decision for you.

    1. Yes we have considered that getting older gets more difficult, but I believe we have another 10-15 years before worrying about that. Thank you for the concern. Janice

  6. I admire you for having the courage to "let go"....I so see the need, and know it will be best for Little Crow (as he is an only child and has no interest in my "history"), but eeek...it's hard! Thought WWR would resolve all the issues...but, not so much LOL. Love that bucket bench!! Happy Independence Day if I don't get back here before then! ~Robin~
