Hi my friends!
Well I just have two new starts today.
Decided I better start working on my saltboxes.
I actually gave up on the Winter one.
Did not like it and felt it was way too small.
So round two working on the Spring ones.
Starting with this one first.
This time I chose a 28 count fabric
instead of a 36 count.
Am loving this stitch now.
Will have to decide if I am going to stitch
all of that white.
It is meant to look like and old
Polaroid would have looked like.
Next up is Spring Delivery.
This is the sister pattern to
the other bunny am working on.
Have two chicks stitched.
Then started on the bunny.
Will backstitch the tail as well as the other one.
Just not sure what color yet.
In other news,
updates on Michael.
The gashes on his legs have become infected.
He is now on antibiotics for this.
The doctor wants to see him in two weeks.
The ortho doctor put his foot in a boot.
He has to go back to see him in three weeks.
He started having another issue.
It is very hard for him to sit and stand now.
Appt has been made to see a back doctor.
Michele received the police report.
It stated that they did take the little girl
by ambulance to the hospital.
She does not know anything else,
so we hope she is alright.
The drunk driver was driving someone else's car.
Does that surprise me...not really.
She is out on bond, but am guessing since
she already had warrants out,
that she will skip this hearing as well...
and have another warrant out.
It is a pattern with her it seems.
Michael's boss told him to take
care of himself and not to come back
until he is fully ready two.
At least he has a nice boss.
Friday we had a round of thunderstorms
come in the afternoon. The first time this Spring.
We had rain off and on yesterday.
Looks like more rain today.
Well you know what I will be doing.
First need to make some breakfast.
Omelets with some spinach,
sausage and cheese.
Dinner tonight will be bbq pork sandwiches
with a salad.
I made some homemade
blueberry vinaigrette dressing last night.
Made a salmon salad with it...
so I want to use it up as it only lasts a few days.
Sunday Spring Blessings to All!
Janice
I really like the saltboxes!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Michael is having all these issues and the person responsible is out running around...
It's been raining on this side of the state too with more coming today. (Better than snow!)
Guess what? We're having the BBQ pork sandwiches tonight too!
Great beginnings! I've toyed with the idea of stitching those bunnies each year but haven't made the plunge yet. There are so many wanna-stitches out there!! I'm in an in-between spot...not knowing what I want to do. I've got a couple of smalls I want to do but can' find a linen I like for them and not sure what, if any, larger sampler I want to take on. I really need to finish up some hooking projects before starting anything new. Sorry to read about Michael's complications and hope he's back to par soon. We're in an ice storm with snow later. Ick. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteWhy are they called salt boxes if I may ask?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for Michael - that is a lot of damage.
I guess the little girl is with her mother now - which scares me.
And the gal is out on bond already?
What's wrong with this?
Love the bunny by Scattered Seed Samplers.
ReplyDeletePrayers for Michael's recovery...and quickly.
I betcha you will be doing lots of stitching!
I LOVE the saltboxes.
ReplyDeleteOh my, poor Michael!
You always make me want to stitch even though I do not have the eyes for it.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry your poor grandson is going through this. It just makes me so made that they are out and going to do it again.
I who owns car has insurance.

I am so sorry to hear about Michael's infection. He is so lucky to have a good boss but I know this must be terribly worrying to you and to Michelle, too. Sending all good wishes for full (and rapid) recovery. I love your stitchings, especially that cute rabbit!
ReplyDeleteHi, I am sorry about Michael, I will continue to pray. How is your daughter?
ReplyDeleteYour dressing sounds so good. I love blueberries.
Happy Last Day of March,
Carla
