My first Spring display includes these jugs
with faux flowers.
My first sweet Spring display also includes
this bunny, pillow and feather basket.
Created this Bun-Bun many years ago.
I stitched this piece last year.
I stuff most of my pillows with fabric scraps
for that lumpy look.
Need to finish the other seasons now.
All atop my old dough box.
In other news,
the day before Spring our temp
was a wonderful 71.
Then the first day of Spring
in came the rain, freezing rain,
and then the snow.
What gives Mother Nature?
While it was snowing Tundra was outside
loving it though.
My daughter Michele ended up
in the ER a few days ago.
She went to an urgent care first
after 2 days of migraines and nausea.
They gave her a script.
Did not help so she ended up
going to the hospital.
By this time her BP was high and migraine
getting worse.
She spent 6 hours waiting to be seen.
After doing a CT scan and giving her
an IV because she was getting dehydrated,
they sent her home.
After an hour, the migraine came back.
She is making an appt to see a neurologist now.
I gave her the info for the one Bob sees.
Hopefully he can find the problem.
Don't you love hospitals though?
Speaking of hospitals,
the one near where I work there was
a shooting the other day too.
I was already at work thankfully.
They had all of the roads closed
and a helicopter in the air
looking for the suspect...which they
did finally catch.
An employee shot another employee
in the hospital parking garage.
Thankfully the one that was shot
was not fatally shot.
He was shot in the arm twice.
Still not a good situation.
They blocked the road an hour after
I went through so I missed the commotion.
Am glad I did miss it.
It is raining here now.
Will be doing my cleaning and laundry.
What will you be doing this weekend?
Spring Is Here Blessings To All!

Hope they find an answer for your daughter's health issue. What will I do this weekend? I SHOULD clean because there must be lots of wool dust everywhere. What will I probably do? Work on my rug, lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring I love your Spring displays very much. Hoping your daughter finds good help soon-our health system is getting worse and don't understand why. I finally got into the doctor yesterday-he was an hour late as I sat in the room probably an emergency at the hosp but one would think a nurse would pop in at least once.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend Hugs from the lake
Spring is looking good in your house! As you said, not so good outside! But it's coming.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who is a nurse at that hospital and had to be evacuated. Scary stuff.
I'm sorry your daughter is dealing with all that. I hope the neurologist is helpful.
Every time I see that feather basket, I turn an unsightly shade of green LOL. But I must say it looks sweet as part of that springy display. So sorry that your daughter is going through that and hope she gets some answers soon. Don't even get me started on the hospital stuff though...when I first went to the ER (by ambulance), I was made to wait 9 hours. That's absolutely crazy. When they called me back in to be admitted, they assured me I'd not have to wait as I'd be put in a room. I ended up spending 2 nights in the ER before they could get me a room in the hospital. Scary stuff about the shooting. I'm glad you missed the commotion and no one was too seriously injured. We are to get more snow tomorrow. My plan is to work on taxes some more today, do some other paperwork and laundry and then tomorrow hopefully stitch a little or work on binding my rug. If they change the forecast, though, I will likely make a corn beef and cabbage dinner and have my son and DIL over instead. But I don't want them traveling with bad roads.
ReplyDeleteSpring is going to come. I do love your spring decorations.
ReplyDeleteI am worried about your daughter - I think they should have kept her in the hospital! Sending up some prayers.
Sorry to hear about your daughter and sure hope they find what is causing her problems.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue jugs with the flowers.
Those faux flowers look just great in those jugs and I love the spring awakening pillow. Sending loads of good healing wishes to Michelle and with hopes that they can determine the cause of these and provide some remedy.
ReplyDeleteHi, sending prayers for your daughter. You are right... our medical system here in America is messed up badly. We have a friend who has waited two weeks to be seen by a doctor for debilitating pain.
ReplyDeletePlease keep us updated.
