Good morning friends!
When deciding what to do for Christmas
at our gift shop,
I remembered creating cookies
many years ago, and made more again this year.
Cutting my shapes from tan fleece
and then again in batting.
Adding colored glass beads for sprinkles.
Creating my version of a sprinkled
sugar cookie.
Cotton thread was sewn in between
the layers so that these may be
hung on your tree.
Candy Cane, Heart and Tree.
I wanted to make gingerbread men
too but not enough time.
The green hue in this pic is from our
overhead lighting in the store.
We added green and red bulbs
in between our normal white ones from the ceiling.
Gives our room a festive look.
Been recently dealing with some
sciatic nerve pain in my leg.
Not fun and keeps me up at night.
Taking inflammatory meds to help...
wish it would hurry up and go away.
(the joy of getting old)
Sugar Cookie Blessings To All!

Cute little homemade ornaments for the Christmas tree. Any gingerbread ones? Sorry about the sciatic pain, it's a bummer. Wishing you a quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteStay safe ad well.
Hugs, Julia
Aren’t you clever. They’ll go like hot cakes!
ReplyDeleteI hope your pain is short lived too
I like your wonderful craft. It would be fun to have had that idea when my girls were little. :):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are having pain...that darn sciatic pain is awful! My husband suffers with it too! I love your little cookies!! How creative you are!! Adorable ornaments!!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet (get it??? ;-) ) ornies Janet!!! I am impressed how smoothly you transitioned from Halloween to Christmas (of course I am not seeing all the hard work behind the scenes LOL). Wishing you relief from the sciatica....I have had it and would not wish it on anyone.....so persistent it is impossible to find a comfortable position. ~Robin~

Those are cute! That's a good idea with the lights too. It is a "pain" I too am all to familiar with. I hope it clears up for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better!
