September CupboardScape

Good morning friends!

Cannot believe it is mid September already.

This time of year the flies and gnats
are a pain in our area.
Thus I decided to add my shoo fly in this
cupboardscape.

More drieds added to my French enamel pitcher.

The crows are also squawking a bit more lately.
We sell these crows in our gift shop.
They have been a good seller.
Only one large one and one small one left.
This is the large one,
which I decided to keep for myself.

Farmers are reaping their harvests.
Bob made me this corncob tree
a few years ago.
I still love it!

I also decided to keep up my gold check
linsey woolsey blanket.
Don't often get to display it,
so it stayed up again for this cupboardscape.
Love the colors of September!

Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler temps.
I know I am!

September Color Blessings To All!
Janice

  2. The gnats are terrible here too, you can't hardly work outside. I'm ready for the September colors. Our trees are starting to change here.

  3. Hi Janice. I am with you. The colors of autumn have always been my favorites and they make me feel good. I really don't know why I don't have more of them just normally. I always love your cupboardscapes.. Stay well..xxoJudy

  4. I'll be getting out more of my fall things when I get home. I love the colors, too. These are such beautiful vignettes.

  5. There's nothing like September's colors....that lady knows how to dress....sometime neutrals and sometimes incredibly rich and bold. It has been too windy here for bugs/flies....although my "familiar" hornets (the docile ones who live under our eaves and don't bother me and I don't bother them) are moving slow and "congregating" as they always do this time of year...and that means I am shooing them back out the door several times a day. ~Robin~
