Throwback Thursday

Good evening friends.
As the year ends,
I realized this is the last Thursday of 2016.
What a better send off for a
Throwback Thursday.
Hope you enjoy my Christmas past.

My son Matt on the left.
Grandson Michael in the middle.
Daughter Michele on the left.

Mikayla and Michael opening their presents.
This was the year they lived with us.
It was actually nice having kids in the house again...
I sure missed them when they left,
but my daughter wanted her own place again.
This was after her divorce.

Snowing here at the moment as I write this post.
Earlier I went grocery shopping.
Bob and I are playing it low key this New Year's Eve.
Staying home and doing appetizers for dinner.
We also do our annual crab leg dinner.
Its our way of splurging instead of going out.

What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
Will you be attending a Party?
Hosting your own party?
Playing it low key yourself?

To be honest...I might be in bed before the ball drops.
One never knows if I can stay up that late anymore. LOL

See you in the New Year!

Last Throwback Thursday Blessings To All!

  1. Love your decorations.. I think we are home too.

  2. Lovely throwback Christmas photos!! It is such fun to look back and see beautiful moments from the past. We will have a quiet New Years as well as it isn't something we celebrate much.

  3. Happy New Year! Great Christmas pics!

  4. Hi Janice, just wishing you a Happy New Year! I love the photos of your family and all your cute Christmas decor.

  5. Love all those prim Santas, Janice!
Have a wonderful evening & a very Happy New Year!

  6. Hi Janice,
Such fun photos and it is so nice to have a record of how you decorated during the year!! Your crab leg dinner sounds just perfect! We are going "low key" as well!! I hope you and your family have a very Happy New Year!!
    Heart Hugs to you~

  7. your "throwback Thursday" Christmas photos!! Then, again, aren't too many of your photos I don't enjoy. Doing a low key NYE here as has never been one of my "favorite" holidays...The routine the Mr. and I developed was staying home and him cooking steak, lobster and crab; him falling asleep well before 9 pm and me watching The Twilight Zone marathon.... This year, though, I am alone, as he is in, it's a bit of blog reading, a bit of stitching...and my old friend The Twilight Zone. Happy New Year to you my friend...hope it is filled with your heart's desires.... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  8. Love all of your photo's!!! The little kiddies sure had fun opening their gifts. Wishing you a wonderful New Year. hugs, Lecia
