ReplyDeleteFreedom can't be overrated. It's a priceless gift which we cannot take for granted. I salute all the brave soldiers who have sacrificed their lives and for those who continue to fight for freedom.

ReplyDeleteThank You Janice - I agree with the poster above me - too many think of Memorial Day Sales and barbeques and perhaps, only give a passing think on the day, before reaching for another cold beer. I do wish it was not a 3 day weekend. Every other group gets a whole month and our Fallen only get a day that is shared with other activities. It saddens my heart.
