July CupboardScape

Can you believe it is July already???

Hello friends!

Today I feature my July 4th CupboardScape.

This entire piece is all hand cut.
Not sure what this is called, but if you know please share.

Not entirely sure about the date either.
Either late 1800's or early 1900's

Then I just had to add my flag picture.
Such a shame that many do not care about
our flag anymore.
Am pretty sure folks are rolling in their grave who
sacrificed their lives for our flag.

Created this fun lil display using faux blueberries,
tomato pin keeps and these fun silver stars.
My version of a red, white and blue display.

one of my hand made dolls

made in the 90's.

More red, white and blue.

I did have this tree displayed in my bedroom

last year...but wanted to do it again.

I so love this red white and blue quilt.

My favorite colors are red and blue.

Tundra wants to wish everyone a safe and festive
July 4th holiday.
Remember to take time
to realize we live in a free country.
One that we should not take for granted.

Tonight all of the kids are coming over
for a bbq...
then we are off to see the fireworks up town.
First time we have all got together
since covid hit.
Looking forward to good food and fun!
Later we will park at Bob's cousins drive
a little ways from our house
and then walk up to town.

Then Tundra and I will work the gift shop
Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Happy July 4th Blessings To All!
Janice

  2. Ahhh, now it does! First attempt vanished for some reason. Anyway, your old star quilt is beautiful with all the now heather fabric colors from the years. It makes the perfect backdrop for a July 4th cupboard space too. I also love the idea of using old white/silver ornaments to add some sparkle to your summer faux tree. I need to remember that next year for my tree in our family room. Have a wonderful family gathering and Happy July 4th!

    1. I actually forgot I had this quilt. It was on the back of my bench with the other side turned around. LOL You must show me pics of your tree if you do it next year.

  3. I like your 4th of July decorating. The quilt, the pictures, the wooden bowl display, the red, white and blue tree, everything is great and perfect for the 4th. I don't know what your hand cut picture is; but it sure is interesting. Sounds like you are off to a great celebration. Enjoy. Hope your store does well this weekend.

  6. Your display is very patriotic. I wish you a happy 4th of July celebration with your family.

We just celebrated Canada Day on July first. There was so much noice all day and until 10:30 and it all ended with fireworks. We could hear loud music and people cheering. We didn't participated but it sounded like people were enjoying themselves by the sound of it. The noise carry over the water.

    Enjoy the long weekend.
    Hugs, Julia

    1. Yes we had the fireworks too. At least our dog was not afraid of the noise.

  8. Hi Janice! Love all your patriotic and I adore the red quilt. With all the controversy and unpatriotic actions lately, I am feeling more patriotic than ever and will be proudly waving the flag this weekend - and every day. We are almost packed for our move, but we made sure to leave out our flags so we could display them for the holiday.Have a wonderful 4th! Jane

  10. What a lovely patriotic display. I love our flag, our history, our American way of life. Guess I'm just old-fashioned. My flag is up 24/7 and lighted at night. God Bless America! That special paper ephemera with the dimensional aspect is just incredible. All of your cupboard scapes and table scapes are so pretty and creative. Love that prim doll!
