Happy Sunday all!
With Spring around the corner,
I have the Winter blues.
So therefore an showing you my blues.
Hope you enjoy.
Well we had the plumber out yesterday.
He will be coming back to redo our pipes on Tuesday.
We have a drain that has been leaking
for quite some time and now we have to replace
part of our wood floor in the kitchen.
So glad we kept some of the extra flooring.
Once that is done,
Bob will start ripping out all of the cabinets.
Dishwasher comes in March 5th.
Then he will start making the cabinets.
We will be keeping our other appliances.
Don't want to spend any more money,
if we do not have to.
Well off to the store.
Hope you all have a wonderful start to the week!
Winter Blues Blessings To All!
Swoon .... oh the blues! Can't wait to see your work. Also, good luck at the store today!ReplyDelete
Blue and red...two of my fav colors! JaniceDelete
Very pretty! sounds like a big job but you will be glad you did it I think.ReplyDelete
Yes it will be a big job. At least the plumbing is all set now. JaniceDelete
The blues look pretty. Sorry about the winter blues and about the water damage but once all the work is done it will be lovely again. Renovation is always painful but worth it. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress.ReplyDelete
Hang in there, only 20 days to spring. It's coming fast.
Thank you Julia! Yes it might be painful but well worth it in the end. JaniceDelete
I love your blues! I especially love the way your quits are displayed. We've finally had a few warm days but rain and rain. I'd love a few warm dry days.ReplyDelete
Thanks, I change up my quilts and coverlets each season. Cold here in Michigan with snow tomorrow. JaniceDelete
Gorgeous blue textiles!!!ReplyDelete
Thanks Lauren! JaniceDelete
Hard to have the blues when looking at such pretty blues!ReplyDelete
Yes it was a just a play on words with the Winter blues,. JaniceDelete
You have a wonderful collection of blues! One of my favorites is the blue basket. What a gorgeous find!! We hit 84 this afternoon and Spring is jumping out everywhere. This is typical for us this time of year but it seems weird that it will be March already tomorrow. It rains on Tuesday and then it is back into the low 60s again for the rest of the week and next weekend. this time of year we are on a continual roller coaster with hot and chilly.ReplyDelete
Thanks Winnie. I did pay quite a bit of money for that basket, but so hard to find them painted. Np signs of Spring here yet. JaniceDelete
Love all of your blue collection! Especially that white cabinet, the Primitives sign and the little blue dress. Glad you are getting that plumbing done, Those problems can be so troublesome.ReplyDelete
Hubby made the sign for me. Yes plumbing is finished now and I was able to do dishes. YAY JaniceDelete
Oh my, I love your winter blues! I hope all goes well with the plumbing and floor repairs.ReplyDelete
Plumbing done now. Not sure what the next step is now. JaniceDelete
Blue is my favorite color.ReplyDelete

Thanks Carla! JaniceDelete

Yes love my blues and reds too! JaniceDelete
I have a lot of blue in my house and those quilts are lovely! I'm ready for spring! Your kitchen will be a big job but I'm sure the finished product will be wonderful!ReplyDelete
Once completed, I will fallback in love with my home. JaniceDelete
Well, if you are going to have the blues, those are the ones to have!!!! I'm blue...er....green with jealousy LOL. The basket and the coverlet are my faves! Looking forward to seeing your kitchen re-do project. I officially hit the "go" button on the new project at the lake. Eeeek. ~Robin~ReplyDelete
LOL Yep I love them! That coverlet is reversible with the blue and white. I love it too! Good lick with your redo and keep us up on the progress. JaniceDelete
Hi Janice. I have got a lot of blues and most of them winter ones! Wish I had some of those blue/white quilts. That is exciting to be getting a new kitchen. Can't wait to see all the progress as it comes along..Stay well..xxoJudyReplyDelete
