Hello friends!
Thank you all for the wonderful comments on our bath.
We have one more room to do in our home.
The kitchen....which may come to fruition soon, as we went out last night to look at sinks, stove vents and counter tops.
I moved my prim angel here for this display.
I only had two Valentine displays this year.
My Cupboardscape was the first.
This is my second one.
This is my pop of red.
These faux amaryllis plants.
We offer these at our store.
Fits nicely in my gathering basket.
I have many bowls which are just stacked
in one of my cabinets.
Decided to add more to this display.
I so however always keep three in bowl rack.
My dads favorite color was red.
Valentines does not always
have to be hearts.
Utilizing colors of love will
make a statement too.
Pop Of Red Blessings To All!
Janice
The amaryllis look so real! Are you going to get a vintage stove for your kitchen?
ReplyDeleteI purchased these for our store because of their realistic beauty! We will be keeping our current stove and refrigerator. It will cost enough for the other items...especially since we have to redo the entire plumbing. Trying to keep costs down a bit. Wish I could have a vintage stove though. Janice
DeleteI love all of your reds Janice. Red is my all time favourite colour. Love your amaryllis too. Have a great day. Say hello to Bob too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Janet! The red does pop quite a bit. Now I know why it was my dads favorite color! He so loved red poinsettias at Christmas time. Janice
DeleteWhat a sweet angel.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lauren. I created her years ago. Janice
DeleteLove your angel and I agree that a pop of red is always a winner!!
ReplyDeleteYes winner winner chicken dinner. Thanks Winnie!
DeleteA pop of red is attractive especially when it's flowers.
ReplyDeleteIt cheers the heart.
The prim angel is cute.
Hugs, Julia
A very cheery color to cheer the heart for sure! Janice
DeleteI have had a somewhat secret, but very long-lived, love affair with red. And it is always at its boldest....and most charming, in my opinion....when only flirted with and shows itself in "pops" and bursts here and there. Your little angel is adorable.... Good luck with the kitchen planning.... I am sure it will be beautiful and tasteful. ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteSo did my dad. Going with a farmhouse look using beadboard. Hopefully it will be as good in person as on paper. Keeping my fingers crossed. Having a plumber coming in tomorrow to redo pipes. Out comes the checkbook. Janice
DeleteThe touch of red is perfect! I love the wooden bowls. I am also wondering about the stove you will choose. I am really looking forward to seeing your new prim kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Am looking forward to the kitchen redo myself. Years in the making. Saved 2 cabinets for years for this. Janice
DeleteI also love a touch of red. Our eyes seek it..like a cardinal in a tree...you are really drawn to it. I can't wait to see what you pick out and how you remodel the kitchen. The bowls...stop it!
ReplyDeleteI have drawn out the decorating part of the kitchen and it has not even started yet. LOL Looking forward to this. Since we are staying put, I wanted my kitchen. Janice
DeleteA little pop of red always brings energy to something. I love your prim angel, too. A nice vignette, Janice!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie. Glad Valentine's is in February. Red helps with the cold dark Winter. Janice
DeleteColor always pops against primitive decor and the red is beautiful. One of my favorite colors! Good luck with your kitchen redo and I'll look forward to seeing what you do!
ReplyDeleteIt sure does and thanks! Looking forward to Bob making the cabinets. Janice
DeleteGood morning Janice - I sure do love your little angel! I sent you an email about the waffle recipe you were asking about. Love your decor!
ReplyDeleteWill need to read my email for that recipe. Thanks! Janice
DeleteHi Janice. Love your pops of red and I just scrolled down to your Winter Bath Part 2, I missed it somehow. I love it all but I sure do love the peg board with the mirrors and I didn't know that superstition about the mirrors. Maybe that is why sometimes the dogs stare into the parlor as I have the two big mirrors facing each other. I know it makes for not so good pic taking sometime but now I will blame it on the "ghosts"..Stay well..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteYes when all else fails...blame the ghosts. We do. I would seriously think about moving one mirror. We have too many antiques to have mirrors face each other. Janice
DeleteNice display.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennie! Janice
