I want these kitchens.
Am green with envy...
These three kitchens that I am featuring today were
a part of the museum displays
in which Bob and I had the pleasure of visiting last week.
Wish I could have taken them home with me.
First kitchen circa 1830
Loved the trencher, stools and table.
Firkins, baskets, bucket bench oh my.
Now this was an awesome cabinet on the side of the fireplace.
The red color made the blue inside just pop!
Plus that floor..
Second kitchen circa 1890
Simplicity at its best
Dry sink, blue wains coating...even the rug and pump.
Notice the hanging lamp next to the window.
Love, Love Love.
Finally the third kitchen
Circa 1700
This is the biggest spinning wheel I have ever seen.
Just a lovely piece of history.
Could you see yourself cooking in that fireplace?
Now after seeing these pics...
Wish I could have taken them home.
Do you agree with me?
Still green with envy.
Spring Blessings to all.
Janice
