Woolie Pennies

Good afernoon sweet blogging friends.
Today's weather outside is a rain snow mix...
so I am staying inside and finally taking down
my Christmas.
It has been so cold here that I did not want to venture
up into the attic.

I have been keeping busy making woolie pennies.

Which I stitched onto aged chenille.

Which I made into a heart pillow.

I made 4 of these ~ three to sell and one to keep for myself.
Bob took all of my goodies to the store this morning.
So now I am drawing doodles for Spring and Bunnies...
which are my all time favorite.

Instead of keeping my pillow on the couch,
I decided to put up my santa and replace with my snowman
and heart pillow.

I do so like the pine needles next to the off white and reds.
Plus it gives me another month to enjoy
the white lights and silver of my tree.

Are you getting ready for Valentines?

Woolie Pillow Blessings To All!
Janice

  2. Very pretty, Janice...I'm trying to price and get things ready for the show in Holly. I'm not much in the mood, but it has to be done. I then want to make a few things to sell. Have a great Sunday...it is kind of awful out, isn't it? But a great day to stay in!

  3. Cute, cute, cute pillows! You are one talented lady...looking forward to seeing your bunnies. We were blessed with a pretty nice day...warm (for us, 38 degrees, and mostly sunny). Hope you dry out soon and have a wonderful week. Jane

  5. I really love wool pennies, your color combos are great. I finally have Christmas decor put away. Can't wait to bring it all out again in 11 months! ;) Hope it warms up a bit for you. It's been in the 70's during the day in southern Cali.
    God Bless ~ Jessica

I hate taking down my Christmas decor, I leave my snowmen up all Winter so I can enjoy them. Hugs, Lecia

  10. Hi Janice....since I wasn't home at Christmas , I have a few things still up. Like a gorgeous Merry Christmas stitchery by Bridgett Swindle, and some grungy gingers from Janet at Olde Crow Primitives in my olde dough bowl.
In my Mothers curio cabinet is the display of Snow Babies and Christmas trees ( which I left up from last year ) and may do again this year :) in the summer my dear Granddaughter said she was going to bring some sand from the beach and sprinkle it in there ;) it's a good thing they're cute!
As long as there's snow , they will be out to be enjoyed.
Have a wonderful week. Hugs Marg
