I am so excited about
this month's CupboardScape.
I hope you like what I did.
My mom made this wreath.
This skeleton was also my mom's,
but she did not make it.
I always like to bring out my pumpkins.
Whether faux like the ones above.
Or the real McCoy's like these next two.
This next piece is my absolute favorite
Halloween item ever.
Am finally showing it off.
Both my friends along with my family
also loved this
Halloween at
Hawk Run Hollow.
I finally framed it last month.
Chose this black one with
sparkly silver in it.
Here are some close up pics of each block.
I apologize for the glare.
The block with the scarecrow,
I changed up a bit.
Using my graph paper I made
the plain orange pumpkin
into a black Halloween one.
Then I changed two other pumpkins
to black as well.
This was stitched on
32 ct Stormy Night Lugana linen
using all the called for DMC floss.
I started this piece
October 29, 2023.
I finished it on
September 28, 2024
Hobby Lobby called me to let
me know it was ready for pick up...
she told me if I ever want to get rid
of this, she would like it.
That won't be happening.
In other news,
King Bob decided to order
a dumpster the day he wanted
me to get my Christmas bins
out of the garage..
Did not know this until he called
me 10 minutes before it arrived.
He had to go to the store before we started,
and I guess the dumpster guy called him.
I was oblivious to this.
We spent two days cleaning out
his garage.
I went from being a queen
to a servant of the KING.
We filled that dumpster.
The garage is still pretty much full.
What the heck Bob?
He even burned stuff that was messed up.
I ended up throwing away one
Christmas tree because I could not
find all of the branches.
However at least now all of my
Autumn & Christmas bins are in one place.
Friday and Saturday morning it was foggy here,
and the freighters were blowing their horns.
I always enjoy hearing them.
You know by the sound of each horn,
whether it is a short or long freighter.
The longer ones have more of a bellow
or a bass tone.
The shorter freighter have a higher tone.
Both so cool though.
October Weekend Blessings To All!
