Today's cupboardscape are
memories from my grandparents farms.
Both had chickens which laid brown eggs.
When I first saw a white egg I thought there
was something wrong with it. LOL
I tucked in this wire chicken egg basket.
You would always find me in a clover field
trying to find that elusive four leaf clover.
This clover canister was from my gramma B.
She would put tea bags inside.
Of course you would always find the bunnies
eating the clover...when I was not around.
So I had to add one of my iron bunnies.
This crock was stamped with a clover.

In other news,
Thursday it rained about 12 hours.
Our driveway looked like a pond because
the ground is still frozen here.
We met friends for dinner that same night.
The service was pretty bad this go round.
Only one waitress and she was messing up
everyone's orders.
It took her 10 minutes to just get me
and my friend another water and soda.
There were only 7 folks total in the restaurant.
It was a Thai restaurant and they even
messed up the spice level of Bob's food.
He was gagging.
We have been there many times in the past....
so not sure what the problem was that night.
Driving home I almost hit a coyote.
It was still raining and getting foggy.
I was driving slower, so was able to brake.
Thank goodness.
Around midnight last night we had
our first thunderstorm.
Of course Tundra had to bark,
which woke us up.
Maybe Spring is around the corner now?
I know the mud season has arrived.

I sure am hoping spring comes soon. It rained a lot here, but no flooding. Thank goodness. I adore that little clover crock.
ReplyDeleteThink I've mentioned before that I used to have one of those chicken wire baskets with wooden eggs in it. During one of my purging days it went to the thrift shop.

ReplyDeleteIt rained most of the day here too, and there's water all over because of the frozen ground. The wind and thunderstorms during the night were crazy! Very sad about the bad tornado south of us.
