Makers Monday

Good morning friends.
Another early start before I get to work.
Today I want to show you what I created.

I had this old gray sweater
that had seen better days.
I decided I could make something
from the two sleeves.

Drew up a kitty pattern.
Grunged him up a bit with
a coffee cinnamon bath.

The sweater sleeve fit perfectly.
I stitched the bottom so as not to fray.
Rolled the cuff at the top.

Then I sewed up a pouch for him
to hold his catnip.
AKA Sweet Annie.

Am keeping him here in the kitchen
until Halloween.
The Sweet Annie smells good
as you walk past.
I also made another kitty from the
other sleeve.
Will sell that one next year.

In other news,
We finally got some much needed rain.
It rained all day yesterday and I was so
happy it did.
Tundra on the other hand
was not a happy dog.
He hated it.

SIL is still in the hospital.
She has been very anxious.
Still hallucinating,
so they moved her to a quieter room.
Hopefully this will help so she can get
the rest she needs to get stronger
so she can go home.

Mom started therapy again
with the covid restrictions lifted.

Not much else to report.
Have to get to work.

Hope everyone enjoys the new week.

Monday Blessings To All!
Janice

  3. Wish I was in the mood to even finish some of the dolls and critters I've started. Seem to be over that craft.
