Friday Finish

 Well I have somewhat of a finish

to show you all today.

Summer Refreshes.

I was able to get this stitched just before

my mom took her tumble.

I wanted to make it into a pillow,

but just not enough time.

Oh well...there is next year.

I chose my own colors from stash.

I did not like the green in this.

To me Summer incorporates the colors

of red, whites and blues.

Now I did not use white floss as the

fabric was white, however I did use

two blue colors. 

They were so close in color that you cannot

see the difference in my pics.

Well anyway that is my story and am 

sticking to it. LOL

Now its time for Fall and Halloween stitching.

If I can find the time.

I know my plans have already changed.

Spending more time with my mom

has taken away from my stitching time,

but it is what it is.

In other news,

my sister is in North Carolina

visiting with her grands before school starts.

My brother is busy with his wife now.

She had thyroid cancer surgery a few weeks past.

Her test came back and she has cancer.

Now she has to go for imaging 

to see what needs to done.

Plus she also has to have heart valve surgery.

She is going for a stress test nest week

before deciding if she will be able to

go through with that surgery.

That leaves me to go see my mom

 for the next week.

I have to grab her clothes and wash them too.

The three of us kids decided to do her laundry.

My brother has yet to do any. LOL

With my sister gone...it leaves me.

So now I need to go see my mom more often.

Thankfully Bob has been helping out 

with dinner.

Fridays though he meets me somewhere.

By the end of the week we are just dragging. 

My granddaughter Mikayla is having

her own issues at MSU.

She lost her ID and could not get on the bus.

She got locked out of her dorm 

once already now.

Then she was almost was late for class one day.

The life of a Freshman college student.

Its a big campus.

It will take her some time to get use to it.
