A Day Of Celebration

Good morning sweet dear blogging buddies.
Last night our cable and internet went out.
Even though I love my primitives,
not so sure I would like living it.
So appreciate the things we have today.
Makes me realize what our fore fathers and mothers
had to endure back then.

Last Saturday we celebrated my cutie pie's
7th birthday.
She wanted a Frozen cake
I have not yet seen the movie,
so I had no clue what this was until I was told.

Here is my lil granddaughter...
growing up fast.

Her party was at Chuck E Cheese.

There is Chuck E himself.
The mouse in the midlle.

My mom did not want us to do anything for her on Mothers Day,
so Bob and I are taking her to the Greenfield Village museaum next month.
Pictured here is my mom and sister Teresa.
My mom will be 80 years young this September
and I do not think she looks it.

Celebration Blessings To All!

  1. Morning Janice, I agree, love primitives but also would not want to live it. Your Granddaughter is so cute and your Mom does not look her age, wonderful, Blessings Francine..

  2. I agree, lets not go w/o our present day comforts, just enjoy the past in decor!lol I am an adult who loved frozen and the love between the 2 sisters. Sometimes I feel like Igor, discombogulated!lol

  3. Pretty cake for a pretty birthday girl! Your mom looks years younger than her age. Such a pretty lady! Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Lori

  4. You look like sisters.
    Time goes so fast...cherish it.

  5. Hi Janice,
Your granddaughter is adorable and that is the perfect place for a birthday party.
What a wonderful picture of your sister and mother - and you are right, she does not look 80.

  6. Your granddaughter is cute! I know she had a great birthday. Chuck E. Cheese's is one of Darbee's favorite places! Love the cake. I have seen the movie and I am a big fan. I loved it. It all looks like a lot of fun!
