Hello friends!
Hope the weekend is going good for you thus far.
Today am showing what I will be currently
working on for November.
First from Prairie Schooler.
Its all about the turkey. LOL
I dont have much turkey items,
so I want to keep creating some turkey pillows,
to eventually fill up a bowl or trencher.
This is my one day start.
I got two leaves completed.
Working on a third one.
GOBBLE GOBBLE.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner.
My second start for the month
which I will be alternating
is another Prairie Schooler pattern.
This one is called Button Up.
I want to make this on into a pillow too.
Also I will not be adding as much red into this.
When it comes to snow related items,
I am more of a blue person.
As you can see from my one evening start,
I already changed the words from red to blue.
Will add a pop of red to each square.
For this one will do the word winter in red.
I also am cross stitching a border around
each square instead of doing
a backstitch around each one.
In other news,
the church bazaar was so-so.
Not many sales, but did enjoy visiting
with folks I had not seen in such a long time.
Also enjoyed spending time with my mom and sister.
Rained the entire way back home this morning.
A slow drive but at least no deer to be found.
Well have to get some housework done.
I have tomorrow off for work.
Please take time to remember our Veteran's.
They serve to keep us free.
Freedom is not free either.
Sunday Blessings To All!
Janice
Busy needler, lol. Nope, freedom comes at a price for sure.
ReplyDeleteBoth projects have some pretty stitch-intensive stitching. Not for the faint of heart LOL...but given how much you accomplish in just one day/evening "start," I'm sure they won't be ambitious for you. While I love that turkey, I no longer decorate for Thanksgiving...but that witch is pretty tempting. ;-) ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteFun new projects in the works!
ReplyDeleteSorry your sales weren't better. You just never know...sigh.
May God bless our veterans.
Your projects will be beautiful !!! Wish you had a better day selling things .... Veterans day is special to my family
ReplyDeleteA very timely project. We are suppose to get much needed rain tonight. Sorry the sales were not better.

After going to my first craft show of the season I think folks are just not spending and it wasn't as busy as usual either. However, this show always brings me into the almost Christmas season and I enjoyed just looking and did buy a few little things. Have a good week Janice!
ReplyDeleteI like your turkey and Santa - sorry about the craft sale. I do appreciate and thank every veteran including my husband.
ReplyDeleteI like the touch of blue - it makes your stitching suit you - just as it should! And yes it is definitely deer season here, too - my they do blend into the fields and trees - making it so hard to see them. When my daughter is with me she’s officially on “deer patrol” - somehow she sees what I never do. Relax and unwind!
ReplyDeleteI Love your stitching!! Gorgeous...
ReplyDeleteMay we never forget!
hugs
Donna
I love the stitching. :-)
ReplyDeleteGod Bless our Veterans!!
Love, Carla
