Patriotic Blessings

Good evening sweet friends
I want to wish my
Canadian friends a belated
Canada Day
and to all of my American friends
a happy 4th of July.

Without our brave forefather patriots,
this day may not have come to frutrition.

They no longer wanted to be loyal to the British.
George Washington asked Betsy Ross
to create a flag to show our Independence.

She took a chance stitching by candlelight
to create our first flag.
Although the stripes, and stars have
changed over the years.

One thing remains the same.
Red for hardiness and valor.
White for purity.
Blue representing a new constellation.
The 13 stripes for the original 13 colonies,
and the fifty stars for each state in our Union.

Please take a moment of time this weekend
to remember why we celebrate this Holiday.

Patriotic Blessings To All!

PS. Thank you everyone for your prayers.
FIL had surgery to stop the bleeding.
He had a football size blood clot
in his bladder with a tumor behind that.
The surgeon was able to remove the tumor
and it did not spread.
I picked him up today and he is resting at home.
Bob could not find anyone to work our store,
so I drove the 2 hours to pick him up,
and we drove the 2 hours back together.

Thank you again!
Janice
