Hello friends.
Hope all is well with you.
Here is the second half of our living room.
Antique blocks with a Santa I made.
One of my antique Santa's with reindeer.
My second antique feather tree with antique
cotton spun fruit ornaments.
Again I was unable to find more
to add to my tree this year.
I chose to place my latest Santa here.
Santa topper on my third and last
antique feather tree.
Finally a lil display on the side table
by our couch.
In other news,
driving home from work Monday,
an elderly lady had gone into the marsh.
Her front end was in the water up to her
front door.
The rest of the car was in mud.
Fortunately for her, the water level
is much lower than normal in the marsh.
She might have been submerged if higher.
I found out later she was alright.
Yesterday I turned 67.
Yes it was my birthday.
Bob took me out for dinner.
I had Mango Chicken Tacos.
He had a Fat Slim Ham Sandwich...
similar to the Slim Jim's that Big Boy has.
73 days to my 6 week sabbatical...
then I have to report back for one week,
then retirement. YAY
My boss called to wish me a Happy Birthday.
She then said,
"You could give me a birthday present
if you said you were staying"
I laughed and said "NO"
I know she will miss me.
Saundra asked what the round piece was
from my last post.
This is an antique riser.
I purchased this at an antique show
years ago.
The dealer told me it was an early lazy susan.
That is incorrect.
It would have been used in a store to elevate
a display the shopkeeper wanted to show off.
I chose to elevate this display.
Now I must get my butt to work now.
Thank you again who comment.
I so appreciate each and every one.
Re-Living For Christmas Blessings To All!

All the best Jan
Happy Day-After-Your-Birthday!!! Love all your feather trees and the decorations on them. I especially love the bells…but are they really spun cotton?? They look more like papier mache or pressed paper. Whatever…they’re beautiful. I have a few but they’re different so perhaps I’m conflating the two. VERY cold here!
