Living For Christmas Part 1

 Hello friends.
Next up is half of our living room.

My prim Santa...

In his very own sleigh.

Am disappointed that the nose on
my Arnett Santa scraped off.
Now I have to find the time to paint it.
Do you notice another character?

Ever since my grands have been little,
I hide elves for them to find.

Another Arnett Santa with my leather deer.

This antique feather tree has a small
collection of vintage chenille Santa's.

Except for this one glass antique one on the left.

The other corner of our living room.

I even added a candle and small wreath
next to our crock lamp.
Our red curtains are actually red throws
that I attached to clips on a rod.
I purchased these years ago at

This is the same online shop I purchased
our coverlet for our bed.

In other news,
the big snow storm was a dud.
It did snow, however the rain came in.
Then yesterday it did snow some more.
Not enough to cover the grass though.
Other parts of Michigan got it much worse.

We did test my mom for a UTI.
She does not have one.
Her hemoglobin has gone up to 10.
This is better than it was.
Hopefully she will get better.
It is in God's hands.

Thank you to everyone who commented
from my last post.
I appreciate each and every one of you
who take the time to comment.
It means so much to me.
You all are the BEST!

Living Christmas Blessings To All!

  1. I love your elves hidden around. Those Santa's are really beautiful.
Good news on your moms tests and praying she starts to improve.
We got slammed with snow over on this side of the state and now they predict more today...

  2. I used to have several elves which could be wrapped around unlit candle sticks, etc. and gave them to the thrift shop a few years ago after not using them.
Don't recall seeing that hooked blocks mat before. And what was that round wooden board used for previously? Was it a cheese board?
Hoping your mom's issues get straightened out.

That's good you ruled out the UTI for Mom.It just takes a while for the elderly to bounce back.
