A big Hello to all my friends.
Can it be almost mid October already?
Really where does the time go?
So today I wanted to share some
before and after pics of our living room...
post cabinet introduction.
Well moving this out meant more changes.
This was before.
over to here now.
Plus the candle shelf and pipe holder.
No more blue bowl rack.
Cloche was put away.
Make do candle placed somewhere else.
Added in the striper (canning) crocks.
Plus my new tin light.
The placement here is intentional.
I have a plan now in the future for
this empty space on the wall.
Finally then I moved the stool with
the crock to the left on the floor.
by Blueberry Ridge Designs.
was before.
Since I now used this yellow
linsey woolsey blanket on
cabinet door...
Moved all of this to the cabinet.
{except for the Fall swag}
with my new bunny now.
Added in another cross stitch pillow.
Plus you may notice my green pumpkin
turned orange.
How that happened, I have no clue.
Also removed the book and pumpkins.
Therefore placed here now.
Added another 2 crocks,
then created another display
on my breadboard.
In other news,
yesterday was a drab, rainy day.
For dinner we had chicken,
mashed potatoes and green bean casserole.
Bob came home early from the store.
It was a slow day, so he decided
to close and come home and watch football.
It was a cozy evening.
It was also nice that our
Detroit Lions won last night too.
Today we will be back to Summer weather
for a few days.
Wednesday we will be dining out
with friends.
They chose a BBQ place which we love too.
It is called Smoke On The Water.
Monday Morning Musing Blessings To All!
Janice

Good morning Monday, I always enjoy seeing your settings in your home. I watched Notre Dame football on saturday but nothing for me on sunday. Happy new week hugs from the lake
ReplyDeleteSmoke on the Water is a great name for a BBQ place. Have fun and good food too. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great. You have such an eye for this. Looks like magazine pics!
You sure do a lot of beautiful updating - I have to admit that I don't do anything like that.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so nice.
Happy Monday my friend. Everything looks amazing ....before and after.... LOL. I bet I know what the reserved space on the wall is for...and involves stitching. ;-) We have had 3 days of absolutely glorious summer-like weather. Highs in the low 80s and nights cool in the high 50s/low 60's. I do enjoy some warm fall days. We're sliding back to cooler temps tomorrow though.
ReplyDeleteI like all your primitive decor.
ReplyDeleteThe 100 degrees of last week left us with sunny skies around 70 degrees. So nice and refreshing.
Your decorating is just beautiful. It all looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWish I had your energy for redesigning and decorating my house as I used to.
ReplyDeleteWarmer weather here for the next couple days. But all too soon winter will creep in.
You are amazing! I never redecorate ;-(
ReplyDeleteHa.. my green striped pumpkin is now all orange. They must turn after awhile.
ReplyDeleteI love all the decor. I like the feather you have in your display.
Happy October days.
xo
Such terrific inspiration...thank you Janice! I love seeing how you arrange and set up items, it gives me so many ideas. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mary above - such terrific inspiration. I am wanting to move stuff around in our porch for the "holidays.' Smoked meats - my husband's favorite! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteOctober is speeding by and you're speeding by with redecorating! Looks fabulous as always! You have a good eye for placement and arrangement. I try to move things around but usually end up with the same old same old! Have a good week up there and you're not that far from us here in Ohio and I know some chilly days are ahead this weekend. Enjoy these last weeks of October!
ReplyDeleteThis is just so inviting! And I see a little bear that looks a great deal like my little Steiff bear I've had since I was a child. You have such a gift for making inviting displays.
ReplyDeleteRearranging is such fun. So many possibilities when you have many treasures to play with.
ReplyDeleteWow, your place is never boring. You have the special touch. I used to decorate but lately, nothing changes. The only thing I move is the dust, lol...
ReplyDeleteI can't believe is already Oct 15th either. Soon, the snow will be flying.
Take care, and enjoy the rest of fall.
Hugs, Julia
