Another Corner Autumn Reveal

I slept in this morning.
Probably because the thunderstorms
rolled in the early hours of the morning.
I have a fear of them and usually
will wake up...
and it's because as a teen three
tornadoes formed in the same storm.
I witnessed them, so I know.
Although my parents home was saved,
others were not.
It was a mess.
I hate storms.
PLus it is very unusual to even have
thunderstorms in October...
and then last month we had a tornado
right across the river from us.
Weird weather.

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments
on my Autumn mantle.
Here's hoping you like the third corner of my
Autumn blue and gold theme.

Bunnies are my all time favorite,
so I like to incorporate one into each room.

This is how this corner
looked like before the change.

I kept the yellowware bowls,
but added blue and white pitchers to the mix.
These are mochaware.

These are early spatter pitchers.

Blue enamelware and gold candles.

Corner reveal.

Before I moved the furniture.

Afterwards.

Well we are off right now to order
either a new loveseat or couch.
It will come in before Christmas we hope....
and is our present to each other.

Wish us luck.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Ours will be more storms today.
Y U C K

What's on tap for your weekend?

Another Autumn Reveal Blessings To All!

  1. Living in far north as I do I have a seriously niave attitude to storms, I am almost embarrassed to admit this, but it’s true, I suppose it’s like having blinders on, we have never had tornadoes or hurricsnes, thunder and a light show is all we ever have, it just goes to show me that I need to be aware of how I judge things, your perspective and experience with storms is a sobering reminder to me , in the past I have flippantly stated how I love a thunder storm but after reading this today I realize the frightening fierce potential of a storm to now be more aware, your room looks beautiful and a new love seat of sofa is a wonderful gift choice!

    1. We hardly get tornadoes here too..however when they come its seems out of nowhere...which is the scary part. I could never live in tornado alley. My husband loves storms too. We actually were sittin on our dock one evening before sunset and saw a tornado form across the river from us. It was eerie. We both went back inside. Thanks for stopping by. Janice
