A Semi Finish Of Sorts

Sunday morning here in Michigan.
With the calm before the storm.
We are expecting 3 to 8 inches tomorrow.
If we get the high end,
unfortunately it will cause our river
to rise more....with more flooding.
The Coast Guard has been working
day and night to undo the ice jam,
with no success yet.
I hope they can free it soon.

Today I show you my second home.

This was the first one.

Then I made this.
Not yet sure what I will make out of it.
Any suggestions?

So now I have 2 semi finishes.
Both blue houses.

Will put these aside for a bit,
as today I am making

B U N N I E S

My favorite!

What will you be doing on this last
Sunday of January?

Chicken Noodle Soup
will  also be warming us up today later on.

Stay warm and dry my friends!
Janice

  6. Hi Janicd! You are so talented - love your sweet houses. We've been reading about the ice dams in your area. I hope things improve soon. We had a big snowstorm yesterday and now we are in the deep freeze with 50 plus below wind chill! I need to remind myself of this come July when I want to complain about the heat and humidity! Stay warm and have a great rest of the week. Jane

  7. Oh how true is that Jane LOL We Michiganders too complain about the heat in the Summer...not me anymore....because I will remind myself of the big chill of January. Our furnace has been running all night. Right now it is at 66 degrees. Who knows where it will be when this is over. Janice

  9. WOW did not realize we made the news allway to Nod. Yes the ice jam is still there. We are afraid with the temps going to the 50's on Sunday..that is when the flooding may start again. Janice
