Sneak Peek

Good evening dear sweet blogging buddies.
Well, there is some significant progress in our living room redo.
Drywall is up.
New lights installed.
Wood floor ordered.

I want to share with you a new cabinet we purchased
just for this room.

It is quite unusual with a shelf underneath.
It is high enough to hold a 2 gallon crock,
however I am just going to lay a quilt on it.
This is the reverse side of  nine patch quilt.

The door is off center and more to the right.

The inside is original oyster white paint.

Now for our new ceiling lights.

This one is in our hallway.
We never had a light in here,
so Bob had to rewire for this.

I chose ceiling medallions to dress up these lights.
Gramma H had medallions in her living room and parlor room.
Hers were done in plaster.
Nowadays they are made out of a heavy resin plastic.
Bob painted them a shade lighter than our ceiling paint.

This is the medallion in the living room.
A bit bigger in scale.

Both lights similar...with 4 candles in the hall and 6 in the living room.

My latest sneak peek is part of my giveaway win
by Rhonda over at Dirt Road Primitives.
My camera does not take very good close up pics,
but this is a sweet lil blue tulip pinkeep.
LOVE IT!
Thank you again Rhonda.

Sneak Peek Blessings To All.
Janice
