April CupboardScape

Good evening sweet blogging friends.
It has been awhile since my last post...
my apologies.
I will be one glad lady when this redo is done.

With drywall dust at home,
and then construction dirt at work
(aka working on the bridge which is located next to my office)
which by the way continued daily for three months straight.
Including snow and rainy days.
I am so sick of dust and glad to be rid of it.

Bob has painted the walls and our next step is the wood floor.
Then the fun begins!

Since I was unable to do my original CupboardScape
that I had planned for this month,
I decided on Plan B
and feature the boudior.
AKA the bedroom.

Items from my bedroom.
G and H are the letters featured this time.

An early cotton Garment.

The lace goes all the way down this nightgown.

A Galvanized pitcher filled with faux apple blossoms and tulips.

A very unusual piece which I believe to be of French origin.
Being part French...well I had to keep this.

Next up is an early brown check blouse (another Garment),
Hat box and knit stockings (Hosiery).

Look at the detail of this Hosiery.
Can you imagine knitting these?

This wire thingy ma jig is a Victorian Child's Hoop.
Yes even little girls had to be prim and proper and dress up in these.

Now this sticker is on the top of the hat box.
Now everyone is familiar with the White Star Line...right?
The Titantic was from the White Star Line.
I could not find anything out on the sticker,
but if the Z is the name of one of their ships,
then it would be the SS Zealandic from 1911.
If any of you know anything about this, please let me know.

Then I have this circa 1920 straw Hat with a brown silk band.

Then there is this beaver Hat.

I just had to sneak in my wax Hare. LOL

Finally two Hogscraper candlesticks.

Hope you enjoyed this overdo CupboardScape.

Alphabet Blessings To All!
Janice
