Whippy Wednesday

Hello friends.
Well my Sampler Summer idea
of stitching on my three samplers
until the first day of Autumn
hit a snag when my mom fell.

I did finish the final bird.
Worked on these flowers.

Then I continued the left side of the border.
Came to the corner and across a bit.
Finished these flowers.

This is where I ended up for July stitching
on my Antique Birds and Angel.

Once I knew my mom would be
transferred to a rehab center,
I began stitching then on
Sarah Casey Unwin.
I finished all of the upper half now.

I purchased this sampler for the saying.
The saying stitched up fast with only
only color used.
The small trees on each side were also
only one color.

I did change some of the peach
in the flowers to another pink.

The fruit bowls were suppose to be peach too.
I again opted for a rose.

My third sampler is this one.
Feniscowles Hall.

This one will be a tribute to my
paternal grandparents and their parents.

Am stitching my grandfather's name
and his parents in Deep Sea Blue.
My grandmother and her parents
will be stitched with Cherry Cobbler.

The alphabet and saying were done in
Dublin Bay.
The alphabet was included in this pattern.
For those new to my blog,
my great grandmother married
her cousin. This is why her name is
Rosemary Husson- Husson.
I did not make a mistake.

I will now stitch on the border and then
begin the tree on the left.
I have yet to decide where I will add in
my grandmother's parents names.
Toying with doing them either on each side
or at the bottom.
Will make my decision once all completed.
I also need to stitch in
my paternal great grandfathers name.
Am thinking right above
great grandmother's name now.

Finally Summer Saltboxes.

This was my lunch stitch.
Not much progress because I have been
skipping lunches to be able to leave
work early to see my mom.
I almost have the sheep on the right finished.
Sadly this will be put away now.
Am getting in the Fall mood now.

In other news,
I wish it was September.
August has not been a good month for me.
My daughter had to have surgery
for an infected wisdom tooth and a cyst was found.
Hopefully not cancerous.

My son was in the ER for a possible heart attack.
Found out his sugar was extremely high,
which he found out he has diabetes.
Our hope is he can control it now.

One of our good friends passed away last week.

My mom may be kicked out of rehab.
The determination will be made today sometime.
We will appeal if her insurance will not
accept her to be there any longer.
Our appeal agreement
will be that we pay out of pocket.
If they agree she is making some progress,
they will accept our appeal and she can stay
on a week by week status.
If not we have 24 hours to find another facility
to transfer her to.
Am praying this is not the case.

Well off to work.

Wednesday Blessings To All!
Janice

  7. 🙏🏻 Boy that is rough. I’m so sorry for all the challenges you are facing. Seems like one after the other. I pray your daughter’s cyst is not cancer and for your son with the diabetes. Then your mom. I hope and pray the rest of the month gets better for you and your family. 🙏🏻

The samplers are so nice. I like the prayer one. I wish I had learned how to do that.
