Autumn In Our Keeping Room

Today's pictures are courtesy
of our keeping room.

***DISCLAIMER***

Long picture post.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

In other news,
I am appalled, livid and just plain
disheartened to hear that
Mayorkis a few months ago said that
FEMA was ready for any disaster
that may come.
Only to find out now they ran
out of money because they spent $1.4B
on illegal immigrants.
If another hurricane comes in they have no funds.
I pay flood insurance because we are so close
to a major river.
So my funds went towards illegals instead of
what it is intended for.
Those folks in N. Carolina
 were only offered $750.
What the hell is that going to pay for?
I pay out over $1000 a year.
The Biden administration has spent
how many billions on Ukraine and now these illegals,
that we cannot help our own citizens.
Its downright disgusting.
Why am I even paying for it myself?
If something would happen...
would I only get $750?

I am sorry, but they do all need to be deported.
Come back in the legal way like all of our ancestors did.
If Kamala gets in, just like her video shows
her singing to down down with deportation,
millions more will be coming in.
Dont believe in her border photo op where she would
not let reporters near her.
Wake up everyone.
Over 20 MILLION Illegals
are everywhere in the US now.
With more still coming in.
You are not safe.
They are here in my own county,
 with more drugs and fentanyl
coming through.
More crime than ever.
Every week I read it in my local newspaper.
Its a shame that
WE THE PEOPLE
have no say in this....but we do.
Think about it when you vote.
Ok enough of my rant.

I went to the grocery store yesterday and OMG,
the entire toilet paper aisle was empty.
Guess folks panicked with the port strike.
Funny thing is, all of our
toilet paper is made in the USA.
The strike would have affected bananas,
coffee and tea to name a few...
and those items were all there.

Well have to go to the store and take inventory
of our candles and make out an order.
Folks have been wanting certain scents,
do need to get my butt moving...
it is going on candle season.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
Plus say a prayer for those affected by the hurricane.
I feel so bad for everyone that lost everything...
including their friends and family.
Such a tragedy.
Hurricane season is still not over yet either.

Autumn Blessings To All!
Janice

  1. I agree with you wholeheartedly!!!!!!!! It is criminal what the Biden/Harris administration has done to our beloved USA. So you know who will get my vote for President.

  4. Your home looks amazing. I love all the hooked pieces, especially the girl on the horse. I too am a Republican. Go Trump.

  5. Good grief - I hit publish and forgot to say I totally agree with you, it's just awful what the victims of Helene are going through while we give money to illegals.

  6. I totally agree with you-do you watch Benny Johnson? I find him on you tube-he had a former general on today and our govt has done nothing to help Americans, he refuses to call in the military the 82nd is there in NC and they could set up tents for shelter, food, medical this is so disheartening we need to contact the speaker of the house-I think he may be able to do something so shameful Elon set up comunications for some areas I was going to post that video but most all of my readers are liberals-I may just do it anyway

  7. Wonderful photos as always Janice. I don't believe I've seen those older hooked rugs before. Beautiful! I agree with your rant... Unbelievably, I am now reading that it's all Trump's and the Republicans' faults because they cut funding to FEMA. Funny, like you said, FEMA still has enough to funds to house and support millions of illegals. SMH. ~Robin~

  8. I have heard that about Fema - it is disgusting. I am totally with you and I am praying so hard for America. We are going to be in such trouble if he doesn't get in. But I do believe in God and he will take care of us.
I am sorry about the flood insurance.
I love your photos though - something about them makes me feel at peace.

  9. I agree totally with you. What a slap in the face to American citizens. Illegals being taken care of and not the people here legally who have lost everything. It is a total disgrace. How long did it take for Biden and Harris to even visit the areas? Remember when George Bush was crucified for not going down south for two days after a hurricane? Why do the democrats always get a pass? I am so sick of the biased media. I hope people remember how this administration treated its citizens when it is time to vote. I believe Trump has donated $25 million. Dolly Parton $1 million. Elon offering free Starlink. What are Joe and Kamala personally offering. NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH. They are a total embarrassment. They and their supporters should be ashamed.
OK. Time to get off my soapbox.
    Wonderful decorating as always.

  12. You’d find me in that cozy chair - it looks like the perfect spot for reading, napping, stitching - a spot to curl up in for the cold months ahead!

  13. Hello, I agree with you and I do hope people are waking up to what this administration has done.

We have friends in Florida who lost 1/2 their home and business. In good-news they did receive a forbearance for their mortgage until February 2025!
