Spring Past

 Hello my friends!
I was going through my old Spring pics,
so I thought I would share some with you.
The earliest was from 2016.

This was my dad's suitcase.

Going through these pics a lot has changed
in seven years.
I actually started blogging in 2011.
I will continue to blog for as long as I can.

In other news,
we might get dome snow today again.
Mother Nature it is May now.
We had a rainy weekend.

Last night after we closed the stores
we drove a half hour to one of our fav Italian
restaurants. Wanted to take FIL there as he
was craving some eggplant parmesan.
Just our luck they were out of eggplant.
He had lasagna instead, but did like it.
Its a family owned restaurant and the food is good!

Well best get to work.

Happy May Blessings To All!
Janice

  1. I love all your crocks! The small canning crock with the 3 cobalt stripes...years ago I was hoping to buy one but at $125 it was more than I was willing to spend. Now they are around $300. I may never own one. So many antiques have plummeted in value, but definitely not crocks.

  3. I always enjoy looking back at old posts to see if the weather was the same or to see what has changed around here. Not much actually! We had a picture with 2 old folks that looked very similar to your picture. I think everyone looked like that in their day! They probably were only in their 40's! Ha! Happy May to you and we're suppose to get that snow around here tonight. Yuck! I'm ready for real Spring!

  4. So, so, many pretties in one post! But my heart sighed on the 5th photo with the 5 crocks.... Absolutely beautiful - each individually and all together. Gah! It's been depressing, dreary, and cold here with squalls of snow...and wind...oh, the wind. Needless to say, I've been getting less sleep than I even normally do. Stay warm! ~Robin~

  6. All lovely photos of your treasures but my favorite on has to be that big spotted rocking horse. I love rocking horses.

I sure hope we don't et any snow here. It's been raining and the southern part of New Brunswick was without power for a while this afternoon and for some reason, our Generac generator didn't come on so I just stoke the wood stove to keep warm.

Lasagna sound like a good alternative with a glass of vino.

I hope that this is the last of the snow.
    Hugs,
    Julia

  10. Such inspiring photos...you always give me new ideas! I love crocks...it's great to see how you decorate with them. And to have your dad's suitcase...what a sweet, sentimental item. It's so nice you have it out to enjoy, and not tucked away. Enjoy the week...cold & rainy here, not like May at all. Mary
