Coffee Bar

Can it already be the middle of July already?

Geez time goes by fast.

More of my kitchen reveal.
In the corner a repro mug stand.
Gramma H had the real McCoy.
So wish I could have had some of her things.
She had a farm auction after selling
her property and she wanted new everything
for her next home.
Everything sold.
Now Bob has a place for his coffee mugs.
{I don't drink coffee}
The white piece is an early enamel tea strainer.
Both grammas drank tea and coffee.

Bob's Keurig and another glass coffee jar,
with coffee inside this time.
Another breadboard of mine too.
I so love the pattern of the wood once it was stained.

The French blue enamel milk can.

A nice little coffee bar corner,
just for Bob.

I forgot I had this napkin holder.
My dad made this for me in the 80's.

Once I dusted it, it will stay here.
Now I have to remember where I put my napkins.

A wider shot of our corner.
Loving my blue and white!

On top of the one cabinet are
my blue pantry boxes.
I should have taken a better pic of these
in a wider shot.
Oh well, next time.

In other news...
am getting so excited for the debut of our
Halloween room at our gift shop.
This year I decided to make it all about
the witch.
I have some really cool stuff I purchased.
The store will also feature pumpkins,
ghosts, skeletons, and other fun items.
Debut is Friday August 13th.
How cool is that!
Unless you are superstitious.
I will also have my handmades...
some OOAK goodes too!

Coffee Bar Blessings To All!
Janice

  2. Your little touches here and there is what make this kitchen special and you should be happy in that newly renovated kitchen.

I can't think of Halloween and witches during the summer.I'm enjoying the weather. It's not been too hot this year so far. I'm so thankful.

I love my Keurig machine and it's the first think I go for in the morning.

    Enjoy your beautiful kitchen.
    Hugs,
    Julia

You know I am all in for the Halloween season to kick off on August 13th!! I can't wait to see what you do this year. I will let my Michigan Crowd know what is happening and then hope they will continue to sleep until your date. I doubt that will be my luck with this group!! You know how last year was with them. That group can be a force to reckon with! Looking forward to the handmades too!!

  10. Did someone say witches????? 😂 Count me all in... Your coffee nook is wonderful. It seems the people who DON'T drink coffee always have the the best displays for the "coffee-fixin'-station"....I guess if they have to have one, they might as well make it fun. Me...just point me to the pot, the coffee and the water. Yes, please do share some more photos of your gorgeous blue pantry boxes.... They must be the absolute finishing touch to that wonderful redo. ~Robin~

  15. What a clever idea...everything that's needed all in one spot! And I love how everything has meaning...the napkin holder is sweet. And we're not coffee drinkers either, but I'd fill an old Mason jar with cocoa or herbal tea...just right for frosty winter mornings! Mary
