Pre Chaos Display

Happy Saturday all!

I managed to get in one Spring display
in our back room pre chaotic kitchen reno.
Our back room is now part kitchen,
with no room to even sit in there right now.
Oh the joy of remodeling.

I so love my faux dandelions.

Bob actually made the shelves in here
behind our couch.

I do apologize for these dark pics.
Did not realize it at the time....
cannot take then over right now.
LOL

Mixing it up for a lil Spring display.

With my bowls and pitchers with ginger bottles.

A bit of Spring flowers completes the shelves.

Again so sorry for these dark pics.

Am off today to my granddaughters birthday party.
She is 14 now.
Where did the time fly?
She came early and Bob and I were on a bus tour
in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan when she was born.
Was on the phone constantly with my
son-in-law for updates that day.
She came to the store with her dad
two Sundays ago and raided grammas candy.
Took some home for her brother too!

Pre-Chaotic Blessings To All!
Janice

    1. Thanks a bunch. I saw these faux dandelions on a picturetrail site once and found out they sold them on Amazon a few years ago. Then I found more at Hobby Lobby a slight different. I love them. Janice

  2. Happy Weekend, Janice. Ahhh, the joys of remodeling...I know them far too well. I don't think I will ever fully recover from WWR, and now I have a project going on at the lake. At least there I can just "disappear." I enjoyed your photos....those faux dandelions are gorgeous! I hope all has been well with you....I've missed you. ~Robin~

    1. Yeah I hope I did not bring up bad memories for you with WWR. Taking some me time at the lake is good for the soul. There are times I just like to sit on or dock and watch the river early in the morning before the fishing boats come out. Janice

  3. As always, your displays are lovely. There is a reason I haven't remodeled -- I don't think I could handle the chaos. I admire you!

  5. I am fascinated with your ginger jars and will need to look them up to learn more. Always learning something new when you post and share interesting collections here! It must be exciting to see the kitchen plans actually moving forward at last. How fortunate you are to have Bob who knows how to do the work and can work the plan as you both have discussed would be just what is wanted. Enjoy your weekend and I look forward to your next post on progress,

    1. The ginger jars held beer before glass was invented for it. Mine are from England. Janice

    1. Yes excited for the kitchen to finally be done. It wont be entirely primitive...have to think resale value, but as much as I possibly can. Janice

  9. What a blessing to have grandchildren. I love the darkness of the photos - they feel very calm and cool in that lighting. So pretty!

  11. I've never seen the faux dandelions, but then I haven't been looking either. I think the real ones outside are about that size this year - huge! I enjoy your displays, between books filling most of my shelves and cats such thing don't have much chance in my house.
