Lil Jack

Hello my friends!
Hope all are staying safe and well.
We sure are on a HOT streak
here in Michigan.
Temps have been above 90 n0w
for day 5 and the end is still not near.

Every weekend at the gift shop
I have been hooking in between customers.

It was fun hooking these fellas.

A Happy Lil Jack.

Which I made into a pocket.

Back of the wool pocket which is also the background.
A fun mixture of purples, greens and off white.

Now I know my hooking is not perfect.
I cut my wooly worms by hand.

Finished this off with the same orange wool
used for the pumpkin as
for the handles which is just secured
by a rusty pin on each side.

If I had one of these,
I would add some drieds inside.
I currently do not have any...
so could not add inside.
It is pretty just hanging too!

Stay cool my friends!

Lil Jack Blessings To All!
Janice

  3. In the 90s here too and will be thru the rest of the week. Thankfully we had a thunderstorm last night which brought much needed rain.
Nothing wrong with your loops, that is the way this great art form started....hand cut or ripped strips.

We had hot and humid weather here to. We luckily got a nice shower yesterday. It's been very cool in the morning for this time of year but I'm not complaining.

    1. Thanks Bobbie! I am too cheap to buy a cutter, so cutting by hand is what it is for now. Janice

  11. So cute Janice! I love Fall and seeing this cutie reminds me that the hot, hot days won't be forever. I shouldn't complain about the heat since Winter will bring on the white stuff and I'll again dream about warmth! My kiddos are in Michigan this week and I wish I could have gone with them! Have a great week and keep creating!
