More Indian Corn

A Summer Sunday.
WOO HOO!!!
Today I am off to work
our gift shop again for the weekend.
Our candle order finally came in Friday.
Spent another evening pricing those
and most evenings with our
orders all being shipped now.

Today I wanted to show you
the other two colors I made for
my indian corn.
Lovely reds.

Shades of brown.

I love how these all turned out too!

In case you forgot,
here are all of the colors I hooked
which will be for sale in our store
come the end of August.
Great bowl filler.

Well off we go.
Before heading to the stores,
Bob and I are headed to McDonald's drive thru.

What are your plans
for this last weekend in June?

Summer Beginning Blessings To All!
Janice

  1. Your Indian corn looks so nice. I would love to see your wool dyeing job before it's cut into strips. Which technique do you use?

    Stay safe and happy.

    1. Thanks Bobbie. I have been hooking on four different projects at the same time right now. LOL I am working our gift shop both Saturday and Sundays now until I go back to the office for work. It gets me out of the house and gives me a chance to talk to people. Janice

  4. I love the Indian corn! Thank you for your comment on my blog post. I'm looking for a place to move in the NC mountains in September. my daughter lives in the foot hills and would like me to be near her. I never realized there would be so much to do when I retired but I am enjoying it. Take care, and have a lovely week.

  7. The Indian corn is fun! Are we going to have to change its name to something more politically correct???
Hope your weekend was a good one.

    1. Thanks Lauren. I did have fun creating them. I am part Indian, so I am not offended by calling it what it is...but you are right, someone will want it to be changed. Janice

  9. I just love your Indian Corn!! I am a hooker too, was it hard to make? My only problem is that wool attracts cat hair, haha. Melinda
