September CupboardScape

Can you believe this is the last day of September?
Where did the month go?
Yesterday I worked our Urban Garage store
whilst Bob worked  our Back Porch store.
Our worker wanted the day off for her birthday.
Hope you had a great one Laura!

I chose to do this month's CupboardScape
with colors of the season.

A volunteer wild mustard plant on the left.
My hydrangeas and some purple weigela plant.

These purple flowers are faux ones in my wall box.

The green apples next to the graniteware is
a wonderful color combination.

Added more of my graniteware.

This Victorian era child's dress hoop.

My flower arrangement is inside this chamber pot.
With an early brown dress hanging.

I so love how this display came out.
Not your normal yellows and oranges.

Apples are in season here now,
so I see a homemade apple pie in the near future.

I will let the hydrangeas dry naturally.

Now off to work I go...
Its a bit chilly here so will need my light jacket.

What will find you doing this last day of September?

Last Day Of September Blessings To All!
Janice

  6. Hi Janice~ I always enjoy your cupboard gatherings for the seasons! the green apples and dark graniteware are a handsome pair together too. Yes indeed , it is time for Apple Pie. I made one last night with Cortland apples and then spooned over some wild blackberry topping made by a friend of mine from Ohio. What a delicious combo!!

Well, it may have been September 30, but here it was just as hot as any day in July or August when it didn't rain to cool things down a bit. Oh Fall????? Did you forgot to visit us on September 23??? WE are waiting!!!!!

  9. Janice your display looks so pretty. Someday I am going to break out of the box and use some different colors instead of the old tried and true. I finally introduced blue into my red and green for Christmas, so I am learning. Congrats to the winner of that sweet pillow and thanks for your last visit to me. Sorry to hear that they must trim the trees the same all over the country. How sad that there is no one to check the horrible work they do..Happy Tuesday..xxoJudy

    1. Thank you Judy. Only did a few fall arrangements this year. Will explain in future posts. Yes it is sad seeing half a tree standing. Plus it makes them more vulnerable to disease. Janice

  10. I agree that green looks good with graniteware. I'm making "boho" yoyo pumkins for the market I do on 10/12. I found this vintage hand stiched crazy quilt at a thrift for $4. It had wonderful fall colors. I knew right away it would make cool pumpkins. Rainy days to work on them....I hope it dries out before the market...praying
