Our Christmas Nightly View

Happy Saturday evening to you all!
Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving dinner.
Over here in Michigan us Lion's football fans
were glad our team won...it was a real nail biter though.

I am almost done decorating our living room.
Still have a few more things to add to the trees.

I am so excited to show you, that I hope you don't mind.

One of the trees that I need to finish.

I have one more special thing to add to the bowl rack too.
Stay tuned.

Can you see the log cabin in the middle.

I so love it.

A new small wispy tree.

The red plaid throw was given to me by parents
many Christmas' ago.

The fireplace.

Wreath on cabinet.

One of our horses.

A vintage Santa pillow I made.

It is hard to take good pictures in the dark,
so I will do some daytime ones soon.

Now I want to show you some of Bob's new closet.

Antique door will go on the right.
Bob still needs to hang the doors on the left.
Ugly knobs on his drawers will be changed out.

Cedar tongue and groove.
Similar to shiplap but hung vertically.
This entire wall will be painted a tan.

Tomorrow morning we are off to Lowe's,
to purchase my closet door, ceiling medallion,
and more cedar to finish the wall around my closet.

Then he needs to sand the rest of the drywall,
paint and lay the wood floor.
Then comes the fun part!
I cannot wait!!!

Our Christmas Nightly View Blessings To All!

  1. Catching up this morning with my friends, I was so happy to hear your daughter is doing well and you are really decking the halls aren't you. I probably should have done mine while Aretha was singing her song. I am so proud of the Lions and today will be more football for us Michigan people. I especially like the little cabins in your decorations and what about the store, is it ready?

  3. Oh Janice, your home is beginning to look fantastic! I do love that log cabin! I keep looking for one too and have not found one anywhere. It looks so sweet with the other items you placed with it too. Bob's new closet is looking awesome. I love combining the old with the new to make it updated but still fit with your decor.
