I Finally Took The Leap

Good evening sweet friends.
Well I finally did it!
I decided to teach myself how to hook a rug.
WOOHOO!

I started off by purchasing some wool...
oh the decisions I had to make.
I think this may be my next obsession.
For those that already hook rugs,
do you find it hard to choose wools?
I wanted to buy them all!

I started to hand cut my own loops.
It was actually fun!
See I started with creating my brown vase.

I got so excited that I had to start the flowers
before I was done with the vase.

Then we were given bad news.
I apologize for not blogging for awhile.
The bad news was hard for me to cope with.
Please say a prayer for hubby Bob.
He has to undergo surgery soon and will be out
of commission for at least 12 weeks in therapy.
Bob is my rock and now I have to be the rock for a bit.
I consider myself the pebble in our relationship. LOL
When hardship and health issues happen,
it really makes you realize the importance of living your life
to the fullest you can
EVERY DAY.

Thank you everyone for understanding...
you all are my true blogging friends!

I promise to start back to blogging regularly as soon as I am up to it.

Rug Hooking Blessings To All!

  9. Sending prayers your way. I hope all goes well.
Good for you teaching yourself to hook.....it can be quite relaxing. Laughed when you said you wanted to buy it all, it's the same with fabric.
    Take good care. Hugs Marg.
