Beginning To See The Light

Good morning dear sweet friends.
Well the rain has not come yet as expected,
but it sure is foggy!
Still suppose to rain this evening,
so we remain in limbo on the flooding issue.

With the gloomy dark nights of Winter,
and no more Christmas cheer.
I began to see the light.

The lights of whites and creams.
With that said,
I changed up one of my kitchen cupboards
to reflect my new light of color.

What colors do you like during the Winter months?

Winter Light Blessings To All!
Janice

  5. Very nice change up...light and airy...I tend to add small plants around the house, such as ferns and also my weekly purchase of tulips or sunflowers...

  6. I like the reds like the berries that stay on the bushes and pop against the white snow. Beautiful cupboard Janice! ~*~Lisa

  7. Very nice Janice! I'm glad you posted this picture. I have lots of prim color but have really been drawn to ironstone this past year. I've bought a few pieces but trying to incorporate it within the darker prim tones has been hard for me. You have mixed the two together seamlessly and I love it! I would also like to go shopping right there, I see lots of things I would love to have, hehe!

I did notice my 1847 ditty bag!! When I first saw it, I thought how neat... someone and I had an idea along the same lines. But upon closer examination I realized that is my stitching and material that I use for my ditty bags. Lol, so funny! I'm glad you display it =]

  8. Hi Janice,
I so love your cupboard and all the lovely tones together!! It really looks wonderful with the candlelight!!! I think pieces of fabric always soften the hard and shiny surfaces of wood and crockery, don't you? They add just the right touch of "warmth!"
    Have a good week!
    Warm Hugs~
