Remodeling Blues

We decided a few weeks ago
to redo our kitchen.

Baby steps...
One wall at a time.

This is how it started.

Before pics.

Looks ok, right...well not really.
The walls in our house are mostly paneled.
Brown panelling that we painted over.
I want drywall.

This is the right side of the door.
Electrical panel in the laundry room.

Yippee...drywall is up!

And taped.

Waiting to sand and another coat of drywall mud.
(dust everywhere and just one wall)
We figured that was all we could do before Christmas,
with our schedules.

Next is paint and trim.
Colors picked out.
Historic colors for sure...
so stay tuned....

On another note,
thank you everyone for your prayers for my cousin Karen.
I have no new updates yet.
She is still in ICU in a coma.
(prayers still requested)

You all are the best!!!

Home Improvement Blessings to All!
Janice

  1. I'm sure it will be beautiful. And I will be mindful of your Karen. Thirty years ago my good friend had aneurysms on both sides. She is now 67 and does well, keeping close watch with regular visits to the doctor. She will have many prayers.

I am praying for your cousin that is still in the hospital. The Lord is with her and many of us Prayer Warrior's are praying for Karen.
Please keep us posted about Karen and if there are any changes.

    God Bless Karen.
