It will be another hot one here in my neck of the woods.
If any of my friends here are also in this heat wave,
Stay in your homesteads in the air if you have it.
Grampa H use to have a saying...
well he had many sayings.
This one came to mind today as I looked out at the hazy river,
knowing that it is going to be a whopper of of a hot one today.
Today's saying is about life.
If Life hands you a watermelon
Just EAT it.
Grampa H would use all kinds of fruit and veggies with this saying.
In other words, you cannot always control
the things that happen in life,
but you can always deal with it.
So today,
I life happens to hand you something,
eat whatever your heart desires
Happy Hump Day.
It will get better.

I love those old sayings. Wish I had a list of all of them that my grandparents use to say.
