Friday Fun Facts

Its...Friday..Woohoo..and Bob and I are going shopping today!

Will post pics of what we get.

Until then, here are the facts for this week.

1. Just one in twenty babies are born on their expected due date.
My daughter was born on her due date. My son was a day early.
Did any any of you have their children on their expected due date?

2. When you are alive, your brain is pink. When you die it turns grey.
Is there anyone out there that can confirm this?

3. The ancient Greeks believed that redheads would turn into a vampire after they died.

4. It is believed that redheads will disappear in the next 50 years,
and only blondes and brunettes will be around.
Hmmm..I hope they really are not vampires...
that is a sad fact though  :-(

5.  If you press "!" ( quotation, explanation, quotation)
in the Yahoo.com Homepage, you can hear a woman saying
"Yahooooo"!!
Try it...

That's it for now.

  3. A child born on a due date would have been heaven. My first was 3 1/2 weeks late - really. The Dr. Kept promising me he would be born. The other two were 2 and 2 1/2 weeks late.

  4. Our older son was born the day he was due--my doctor said he would be born May 31st---and he was!! (after 45 hours hard labor) Our younger son was born on my birthday (Nov.22) which happened to be Thanksgiving Day--I was also born on Thanksgiving Day. I call him my little turkey!!

    1. Wow, 45 hours..that is insane. I was in labor 3 hours for both of my kids. My doctor wanted me to come to the hospital as soon as I started having labor for my second child (son), but I did not go until my water broke, and he came 3 hours later. I could never imagine 45 hours...kudos and glad you chose to have another one..I also wondered how are foremothers were able to give birth with no doctors around..its quite amazing that they did. Thanks for commenting..love to hear other stories! Take care, Janice
