So this is what happened

For those of you who do not know me, I am quite naive even at my age and a sucker for helping out animals. Bob believes I was a sheltered kid.

I had to walk to school for my middle school and senior years. One time as an 8th grader, walking down the road in a snowstorm going to school, I heard something in the ditch. To my surprise it was a little white kitten. This poor little kitten was freezing and covered in snow. Lucky for him I was able to find him by his crying. I bundled him up in my coat and took him to school with me.

Our family was really good friends with the school principle, and I immediately went to his office as soon as I got into the school. After pleading and begging with Mr. Dooley, he let me keep the kitten in a box in the school supply room as long as I did not say anything to anyone. (animals were not allowed in school what so ever) I named him Snowball and my parents found him a good home.

Yesterday a similar situation happened to me on my way home. All I wanted to do was grab a few things at our small little local grocery store. On my way out, these girls stopped me and they had 3 kittens in a box. One little fella kept crying at me. I knew once I picked him up, it was all over.

I told the girls they were cute and I made the mistake of petting the little one that was crying at me. Then I walked away. I could hear him scratching and crying as I walked away....

So of course I walked back and picked him up...big mistake on my part, cause when I put him down after petting him, once again he was mewing and scratching. 

I got in the car and called Bob to asking him if it was alright to bring a kitten home. Of course Bob is a softie just like me and said: "whatever you want to do honey, it's up to you".

So we are now the proud parents of another kittie (kid) LOL

Welcome Ace of Hearts... we call him Ace.

He actually has a black heart on each side..can't tell from this pic though.

So last night I had to make sure he was alright in his new home.

However, he took to the house like it had been his all along.

Its funny how animals pick their owners...

One day later and he's all over the place.

Except Tanner and Peeps are not so quite thrilled about him.

Lots of hissing going around. 

So for the next clue...
