And To All

... A Good Night!

...

Once Santa has delivered
his last present,
he will take of his coat and pants.

He and Mrs Claus will settle in
for the night.
They will enjoy the rest of the evening
with each other,
whilst Santa will enjoy his long
Winter's nap.

Before he leaves you.
he wanted to wish each and every one of you.

Merry Christmas To All.
And To All
A Good Night!

I will be taking a hiatus until the New Year,
so I want to wish each and every one of
Y O U

Merry Christmas
&
Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas Blessings To All!

O Christmas Tree

O Christmas Tree

How lovely are thy branches.

O Christmas Tree

O Christmas Tree

How lovely are thy branches.

Your boughs so green in Summertime

Stay bravely green in Wintertime.

O Tannenbaum

O Christmas Tree

How lovely are thy branches.

Let us all remember

In our gift giving & merriment

With our family and friends and loved ones

The real and true meaning of Christmas

The birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ
O Tannenbaum  O Tannenbaum
How lovely are thy branches.

The life size Santa was once a store display.

Only 3 more days til Christmas.
Hope you all enjoy the remaining time
before the birth.

One more post to go.

Hope you are ready for this Christmas!

My choice of lights this year
for my snowman tree were
blue, teal, white and bigger white lights.

December CupboardScape

All That Is Merry & Bright!

I fell in love with this Santa silhouette
last year when I saw it at another antique store.

It was hard for me not to show it off then,
I saved it for a WHOLE year to feature here.

Another brush tree
with wonky fabric candy canes that I purchased.

Antique Santa in a cloche.

Orange peels in bowl with candy canes.

Fruit tree with leather reindeer.

Lit up.

Stone fruit in rye basket.

Fruit and pine sprigs.

Faux artichokes and pomegranates.

My linsey woolsey blanket.
Perfect colors for Christmas.

Our other blue cabinet where I feature
my CupboardScapes.

I decided to incorporate the entire cabinet this month.

A festive one this time!

Don't be afraid to mix in antiques
with vintage, along with new items.

I do it all of the time!

Do you like to mix it up?

Today Bob and I will be mixing it up at our store.
Adding industrial in with prims.
{hopefully we will finish today}

Merry & Bright Blessings To All!

I'll Have A Blue Christmas

Without You.

Today I just had to show you what I did with
my blue cabinets for Christmas.

For the railroad rack above I just changed
the coverlet on top to my new one.
A Christmas present to me.

Dressed up my horse in holiday finery.

Now I cannot show you the entire cabinet yet...
only because every time I try,
our Christmas tree gets in the way.
I want to show that in a different post.

So this is what I have at the bottom of the cabinet.
I know I am being sneaky...
but the tree will be worth the wait,

Now for our blue cabinet in the kitchen.
I hung my fabric gingerbreads I made eons ago
onto some red ribbon.
Took a safety pin to attach them,
and can be removed later on.

Also added some red and white ribbon to my
bunny chocolate molds.

My handmade spoon rack.

A little peek in our kitchen.

Do you decorate your kitchen for Christmas?

Can you believe only 7 more days until Christmas?
Let the countdown begin!

I am officially on vacation now until
the first of the year.
However today I am off to work our store,
and continue to do much needed inventory.
Well off I go.

Hope your day is a sparkling festive one!

The First Noel

The Angels Did Say.

So you remember my stocking tree and Santa.

I decided I wanted to make another stocking.
Much larger.

The candy canes were chain stitched
using red valdani.

I love how they turned out.

Now for the holly berries,
I like to make a square first.

Then I cut my squares to make circles.

Perfect berries... each one a bit different.

Did you know Noel is the English synonym for
Christmas.

I used all wool to make my Noel stocking.
It was a pattern from a book I purchased.

Now what to put on each side?

Roses hips and white tallow berries.

Tied together with the same fabric as my
lil stockings.
So glad I was able to finish this.
My original plan was to make three stockings.
Looks like next year for the others.

It seems I never have enough time to
finish some things.

Do you have trouble finishing things?
