My Chaotic Mess

Good evening sweet blogging buddies.
Hope is all well with you all.
A week from today Bob and I will be heading on a road trip
a vacation,
a shopping trip,
visiting with friends and family.
Traveling to North Carolina and then to Florida.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I had every
known space in my house filled with some type of craft.
Well I decided to show you my chaotic mess here.

Stuffed kitties waiting to get painted.

Woolie owls wool and stuff.

Floss on the arm of the chair.
Button jar and fabric.
Drawings folded over next to lamp.

Snowmen chilling out in between my crocks.

More buttons, pins, fabric.

Santas and penguin peeking from behind my sewing machine.

So you see my friends...
my house is a chaotic mess.
Do any of you have this tendency to have things everywhere
while creating?
With just a two bedroom home...
and having my mom staying here...
then my son here to help us out with the store....
I told Bob I want to raise the roof and add on bedrooms.
I even had a discussion with his cousin who is a contractor
last night about it.
We just might have a bigger mess in the future...
time will tell.

Chaotic Bliss Blessings To All!
Janice

  3. Oh Janice!! Last week I was making some Christmas things...I had the kitchen a disaster...my sewing room a disaster...and the living room full of stuffing, floss, and wool worms!! I was so disgusted by the second day I felt like screaming...not because of the mess...but because I couldn't find a darn thing!!! Glad I'm in good company! Have fun on your trip!

  7. It's not chaos. It's the world of a creative person! How sad if you had no interests or hobbies and were bored every day! Maggie

  11. Your house reminds me a lot of my own. When I'm working on a project stuff is everywhere. I know once I'm finished working everything will be back in its place, but it sure is a lot to deal with. Hope you get the extra space you desire.

  12. I guess it's the same for all us crafter /sewers. I am sewing right now and there is fabric here and there, cutting mat set up on kitchen island, and everywhere I walk a snippet of fabric. This too shall pass and all will be clean again. I hope. You do great work Janice. A new room sounds like a great idea:) I'd love a sewing room. Close the door and leave the mess in there.
    Hugs Marg.
